There was a whole different wee outfit planned for this shoot. Complete with matching daddy/son colour scheme. Coordinating hat and gloves. The works. Yep that bag got left in the hall 🙈 so we worked with what we had - a jumper from the footwell and mummy's hat! 😂

Happy Halloween! 🎃
It's been a truly frightful year for so many of us. I'm feeling grateful for this wee guy and his pure joy in so many 'firsts'. This first costume and face paint experience for him was SO fun! Any other COCO fans out there?

Spinning wire wool that's on fire, while standing in freezing cold flood water. No thanks 😂
Big thanks again to the guys at who led this workshop. I learned loads and I'd love to come back and improve on my shots!

Not my strongest from this set but I loved the technique used here - lights attached to a wheel that is dropped and allowed to wobble/spin til it stops. I'd love another try at this one!

This is one of my favourite phots I've taken and definitely a highlight from the Light Painting workshop!
I like my full shot better - cropping to a square for insta is tricky since you lose a bit the sense of your composition.
I'm loving the rainbow theme in this - bringing some colour and hope to a very strange time

How about this orb over the water in the woods.
This workshop was my first time trying Light Painting and I will admit I had no idea the equipment that was needed to get these shots.
This type of shot is done with what looks like sort of a spinning metre stick of lights? The person holding it moves in different ways during your long exposure to get different effects. Pretty cool!
