World book day Reception vs. Year 1... last year it was Zog (Julia Donaldson) this year it's Flicker (The Boy Who Grew Dragons by Andy Shepherd). More complicated this year because he insisted it has to colour change and after vetoing reversible sequins he agreed to irredescent fabric (it looks pink in the picture, but it's more orange/gold in real life). Here's hoping the dragon interest continues, because I've got the process for last minute mask sewing down.

I've always said if we stopped for bad weather in London we'd never get anything done. But I've had 5 tours cancelled in the last three days (more in one weekend than the total I've had cancelled for weather reasons in the last 8 years of guiding!) It's nuts out there! Hope everyone is staying safe and dry!

Last summer I had the great fun of photographing my friend and colleague .t.cox on his (then brand new) Q***r History Tour.

If you're looking for fun and educational things to do this pride month it's a great day out (though you may want to wrap up warmer than we all did back in August!)
