It's always such an honour to shoot another photographers personal branding photos, but it's a completely different ballgame when one of your idols gets in touch! 😱 🤯

I've admired Anna's work for years and I even got her to mentor me many moons ago. Anna is a pioneer for fun, documentary wedding photography and is an inspiration to many photographers. Anna & Todd (who is also an epic photographer) run a wonderful community over on where they help other photographers achieve their goals and run a successful business.

I loved their branding shoot in Brighton, the brief was right up my street: colourful & fun. Here are a few of my favourites from the day.

Studio vs Location for a mini branding session - what's the difference?

In a digital media age, it is so important to put yourself out there and get yourself seen. People buy from people and for small business owners it's super important to show up and be seen.

But what if you absolutely hate being in front of the camera and the thought of being photographed in public terrifies you?

Well, my Studio Mini Sessions are for you.

Bonuses of shooting in a studio?

☔️ Come rain or shine, we're not relying on the weather like when we shoot on location - I don't know many businesses where 'sad and soggy' is part of their USP 🥲

👗 There's easy to access to a toilet/dressing room so you can change outfits easily and really make the most of the 20 minute session.

🙅‍♀️ It's private! On the busy streets it's inevitable to get some gawpers when there's a pro camera around... so if you're nervous about having your photo taken, a location shoot might not be for you. The studio is completely private so it's just little old me and a safe space to pose (which I can help you with, too!)

My studio sessions this spring are both being held in the gorgeous and the dates are:
