📕 🌟 Stepping into Stories Kids’ Lit Festival 2026

Super Saturday in Herne Hill at the Kids’ Literary Festival certainly lived up to its name.

Audiences were treated to eight events at Station Hall and Brockwell Hall from authors and illustrators including:

That’s about right. Three photos, two with my eyes closed.

Unlike the retro Photo Booth that these were taken on, I wait for my client to blink and then take the photo immediately afterwards. So you won’t see any photos like the first two in your proofing gallery.

If September is like the start of the year for your business, what are your top priorities?

I’m going to be working on my visibility. Practice what you preach and all. To kick that off, I’m sharing a couple of photos that my kids helped me with while on holiday. I’m grateful that they share an interest in photography, even if it’s mostly TikTok poses and videos.

To accompany the photos, here are some things that you may or may not know about me:

🇨🇦 I moved to London from Niagara Falls, Canada in 1998 with two suitcases and a two year visa. Now with three kids and a dog, we’re lucky to get out of the house for the day with less baggage than that

🍷 I don’t drink tea or coffee but will happily join you for water or wine

💃 I’m always up for a night out and will often be one of the last to leave

🌃 I’m a night owl so don’t be surprised to see emails and posts arrive in the wee hours of the night. I also don’t need much sleep so I can do mornings too, but who doesn’t love a lazy morning in bed?

✈️ I love to travel and I’m not satisfied unless we have a trip or two on the horizon

☑️ I’m most productive with a long to-do list and I’m always on the go. A good thing since our weekly calendar reads like the train schedule at Clapham Junction. Would I have it any other way? Not a chance! I’m happy to see my kids flourishing, doing lots of extracurricular activities and I can’t imagine what life will be like when they start fleeing the nest

Loved the vibe in at the fab guesthouse in Cagliari and the nearby neighbourhood. is a super stylish three bedroom apartment in the heart of Cagliari. It was a perfect base for exploring the stunning beaches east and west of Cagliari and the city’s restaurants and nightlife.
