More than a place to stay, Wallis Cottage is a living art gallery and a creative retreat by the sea. Nestled in the heart of historic Fishguard, this lovingly restored late-1700s cottage blends centuries of character with mid-century modern style, comfort, and colour.

Original artwork created by the owner and local artists adorns the walls and the collection changes with the seasons, reflecting the shifting Welsh light and landscape. The cottage may even have witnessed the Last Invasion of Britain in 1797, when French forces landed at nearby Lower Fishguard Harbour (they didn’t win — but the stories remain!).

Today, Wallis Cottage offers a cosy, beautifully appointed base for exploring Pembrokeshire’s stunning coastline, with the Marine Walk along the Irish Sea just a five-minute stroll from the front door.
