Tonight's sunset

Sometimes when your just editing through images at your table and look up to see a wonderful array of colours you cannot resist grabbing the camera and taking some shots.

On this occasion I had the 150-600mm attached so just went with it waiting for some seagulls to fly through the image, which they duely obliged.

The Pre-covid19 adventures:

Sunrise from Ynys Llanddwyn

I've been going through old backup photos from a few years back and stumbled across a few that I thought I'd lost both the raw and jpegs of from a hard drive failure last year.

This was one photo from a very lucky trip to Llanddwyn Island, I captured so many photos I was happy with from this location.

This was the only other person I saw on the small island who were also there snapping away at this magnificent light show from the sun behind the cloud.

I've been going through old backup photos from a year back and stumbled across a few that I have decided to finally edit.
This was one photo from 2019 on a Snowdonia Workshop run by , the goal obviously being astrophotography but as you wait for those night hours we got to visit loads of locations. This being one of my favourite places in North Wales.

As I've started looking back at some pictures I've realised I don't have to overdo some of the edits, this being one, a slight rise of the shadows and a small gradient filter to control the skies highlights and boom its done.

Morning sun from Snowdon

I've been going through old backup photos from a few years back and stumbled across a few that I thought I'd lost both the raw and jpegs of from a hard drive failure last year.

This was one photo from July 2018, that I never edited because of a strong sun flare across a part of the image. But kept the raw at the time and thought one day I might like it, I do and luckily I had successfully backed it up. The one lone seagull adds to the surreal morning mist.

I've been going through old backup photos from a few years back and stumbled across a few that I thought I'd lost both the raw and jpegs of from a hard drive failure last year.

This was one photo from July 2018, that I never edited because of how dark the image was and because of a strong sun flare across a part of the image. Good for me that I found the raw and gave it another go with much more practice and experience at editing now.

I absolutely adore this shot and it brings back fond memories of a mad last minute decision to go climb Snowdon at 2am in the morning because I couldn't sleep. Still by far one of the greatest decisions I've made, coming away with now at least 2 images I'm very happy to have captured.
