It doesn’t look like I’m busy looking at my socials, but believe me I’m squirrelling away behind the scenes. Lots of plans and new roads to follow. Exciting times ahead. I’ll try my best to post as I know how bad I am sometimes at keeping up with it!

One of the things I love most about being a newborn photographer and midwife is seeing the incredible bond between parents and their new baby.

In those first few days, everything is so new. Parents are learning their baby's little cues, admiring every tiny detail, and often running on very little sleep!

It's easy to think you'll always remember exactly how small they were, the way they curled up on your chest, or the expressions they pulled while dreaming. But babies change so quickly.

Whether it's through photographs, a journal, or simply taking a quiet moment to pause and soak it all in, I always encourage parents to find a way to hold onto those early memories.

One day you'll look back and wonder where the time went. ❤️

People often ask me how I ended up in newborn photography, and honestly, it feels like a natural extension of who I've always been.

For years, I've had the privilege of supporting families as a midwife and neonatal nurse, witnessing some of life's most precious and transformative moments. From welcoming brand-new babies into the world to caring for the tiniest newborns and supporting parents through those early days, I've always been drawn to the connection between families.

After taking a break from nursing, I've recently returned, and I'm absolutely loving being back. It's reminded me just how special those first moments are—the quiet cuddles, the overwhelming love, the strength of new parents, and the incredible bond that forms from the very beginning.

Those experiences have shaped the way I approach my photography at Andrea B Photography. While beautiful images are important, what I truly want to capture is connection. The way your baby curls into your chest. The look between new parents. The tiny details you'll want to remember forever. The love that makes your family uniquely yours.

Whether I'm caring for families as a nurse or photographing them through my lens, my passion has always been the same: celebrating the incredible journey of welcoming a new life and preserving the moments that matter most.
