babyballet Bradford are seeking exceptional individuals to join our team as a babyballet teachers. (freelance contract)
Available work for 4 candidates:
Monday location TBC 9:45-11am
Friday in Queensbury 9:45-11am
Saturday in BD6 9-11:30
Saturday in Heaton 9-11:30am
Saturday in Queensbury 9-11:30am
Sunday in Shipley 8:45-11:30am
Sunday in Bingley 9-11:30am
Weekend in Keighley 9-11:30am
Other weekdays can be negotiated for the right candidate.
As one of our babyballet teachers you’ll be teaching children from 6months up to 6 years old with our award winning classes.
Your 6-star customer service will help us to foster happy and loyal customer relationships for years to come.
Tasks and Responsibilities
We are looking for a clever, creative, tech-savvy, smart-working and detail-oriented star to join our team.
You’ll already be excellent and passionate about delivering outstanding dance classes as well as being excited to work on growing the school. You’ll have outstanding attention to detail and a strong drive to provide an out of this world customer experience each and every time.
The Day To Day - What You’ll Be Doing Exactly
Light Admin
Completing registers during or after each class
Checking uniform fits
Class Planning
Creating and/or learning lesson plans
Creating and/or learning dances
Tweaking classes or exercises if and when needed
Ensuring each child child is dancing to the best of their ability within class while still maintaining a fun class they enjoy
In Class
Being an amazing teacher in every aspect of the job
Dealing with any situations when they arise
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
- Take the extra mile to engage customers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Full UK Driving Licence - Our classes take place over a range of venues and you will be required to get yourself and sometimes kit to venues.
-Previous Dance Experience
- Experience teaching dance/dance teaching qualifications - It doesn’t matter how much but we would prefer candidates who have some experience of teaching however, if you are an ex-professional dancer with little or no experience our training and shadowing programme will help you to learn about our classes and how best to deliver them.
- Excellent Communication Skills - Both with management and your students and parents.
Fantastic at working both on your own and in a team - We hold regular team meetings and events but the majority of your time will be spent working alone in the classroom.
- Perfect time keeping - Our classes are often back to back and if people are paying for a half hours class it is your job to deliver that class. You must also be punctual at the start of the working day.
