The Three Graces are probably among the most photographed landmarks in Liverpool. So why would I want to photograph them again?It actually started with a visitor to my retail unit at Red Brick Market asking if I had any prints of “just the Three Graces.” And that word stuck with me... Just?That ...

I could create these sorts of images all day! I find the process very relaxing (even though sometimes they end up a bit chaotic!). I needed a bit of down time as I decided to change the information that I put into my presentation bags, along with the unframed prints, which was a bit of a mind numbing task (& I am still not totally happy with it!)
Anyway - I decided to have some fun with wild flowers, ferns & various hedgerow plants found in the Lak District. Layers upon layers!

** NEW PRINT ALERT ** After much deliberation, I just had to re-work an old favourite! I've used much lighter tones in this one, which I think results in such gorgeous colours in the water!
So here is Midnight Blues II ..
Available from my website now & I will have prints with me at the Albert Dock Makers Market on Sunday!

Did you know that there is an 'extra' Pop Up In The Palm House' this year!? I believe there will be a bit more food & drink at this one but still loads of great makers and ME!
Once again there will be traders inside and outside of the fabulous Palm House - See you there !

I've had a few busy weekends on the bounce but it's back to 'normal' this weekend. I've also been working on some new prints, as quite a few now are reaching the end of their print run.
I'm waiting for a few test prints to come back but here's a sneaky peek of some 'possibles' - let me know what you think!

Many thanks to every one that stopped for a chat & a browse at the Bombed Out Church Makers Market yesterday. I'll be back there on August 16th but my next Makers Market will be August 2nd at the Albert Dock.

We had a lovely weekend away near Coniston - great weather, great walks & great friends! I didn't really go with the intention of taking photos for prints but I've just had a look through and decided to work on a couple & see what happened!

Sometimes this is the best way, as you are free to experiment & try new things! So here are three ... let me know what you think or if you'd like to see any as prints!

Some very different techniques tried out here.
