King Krule in Liverpool back in June 2023, at the Invisible Wind Factory.

realised i never got around to sharing these photos from a few months back. shortly after the release of Space Heavy, the band have been touring around the world, stopping by Liverpool in June and managed to go see them in Manchester last week.

also, a portrait of Archy we took during his time in Liverpool, is on the sleeve of the record. a period of time i look back on fondly. thanks for everything and more.

Gottwood Radio Documentary

“Bringing the sounds of the North West through the power of broadcasting - watch the journey of running a live radio station from the middle of one of the UK’s most respected electronic music festivals.”

Very happy to announce that our ‘Gottwood Radio’ Documentary is now live on ‘s Youtube channel, accompanied by a trailer that can be found on our socials.

It looks at the journey of & as they team up with & to broadcast live at the beautiful festival site in Anglesey.

THE MOMENT! THE MOMENT?

Deadline - 3rd July 2023 (2 weeks)

Another piece that i’ll be making, called “THE MOMENT! THE MOMENT?” is a project which’ll collect video footage captured by audiences within Liverpool’s Nightlife Community. A place for all the memorable moments in spaces and on the dancefloors of Liverpool.

Phones, whether we like it or not, are here to stay in the modern world, but their place within Nightlife Music Culture is often criticised. From ‘No Phone’ policies, to promoters using phone footage as marketing, it’s a topic up for debate.

Users can submit their videos from nights out in Liverpool, which will be collected and be showcased as part of an exhibition I’m working towards; the project will celebrate these recorded moments whilst highlighting the issues with phones in these spaces.

Share the iconic moments of touring DJs, tunes that you need that sweet track ID on after the event, videos that your friend got of your first DJ set or those times where you’re just too intoxicated and want to look back upon a moment of euphoria!

Submit as many videos as you like.

been one busy weekend for myself, managed to cover three events and a weekend festival in three days. just over 5500 photos taken and a healthy amount of steps. big love to those who got me to cover the things going on in the city, it’s always a pleasure.

a selection of photographs i captured during my time as a punter at the ever-wonderful festival a couple weeks back.

it’s only a glimpse into the festival’s beautiful setting to be honest; a place i’ve wanted to go for the longest time. i opted to leave the camera at the place i was staying, but couldn’t help it on the second night. my head was constantly scanning the view and whilst i wanted to photograph all around me, i couldn’t help dance away with the boss music.

with the little i captured, hope you enjoy it anyway.
