Emma was 35 years old when she died of EHE which is a rare form of cancer which affects 1 in a million people,she left behind her partner Jake and two young sons and all monies raised from this special match will be donated to Clatterbrige Cancer Centre in Liverpool.

Tickets for this match have been selling fast and a large crowd will be turning up at Bamber Bridge on the day so we encourage anyone wanting to attend to purchase their tickets in the link above .

As well as the football there will be live entertainment including a DJ and singers, kids penalty shoot out competitions,Bouncy Castle,facepainter and much more including a raffle and auction with some great prizes already donated for the raffle.

Only two days to go now before Paul's Memorial day at Freckleton F.C Rawstrone Centre Freckleton.

Can we just remind those attending that it's cash only for things like entrance ,programmes,raffles.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all individuals, sponsors and businesses who have come forward and helped to support Paul's Memorial Matches ,your support has been incredible and very much appreciated.

The work that goes on behind the scenes to put events like this on often goes unnoticed so we would also like to thank all officials and volunteers from the 4 teams for your hard work and time for what you do to make days like Sunday a success each of you are true unsung hero's and very special human beings for the amazing effort you put in with hundreds of emails, calls, messages etc and special mentions go to Adelle Hutton for putting together a beautiful matchday programme and to Paul's sister Sally Elliott who has been unbelievable with her work and dedication with everything and has stopped at nothing for getting everything into place for Sunday .
