The newborn scrunch, I can’t even put into words how cute it is and the draw to have a cuddle when they are all curled up and squishy! You can hardly believe how they fit in your tummy when they have a stretch but then when they are cosy and sleepy and curl up you see how they fit just right, albeit with some blows to the ribs but you get my vibe.

I have settled into my new space for newborn photography in Southport. Based in Halsall at the gorgeous within & .and.seek

Moving to a new location has been a big step after doing my newborn photography studio in Crosby, Liverpool for 10 years but I am overjoyed with my clients feedback at how happy they are to make the short journey up to Southport, it is such a big compliment knowing people are happy to travel for me to photograph their families. And what a gorgeous spot to come to for the day it is a beautiful countryside escape, make a day of it and have some lunch in the cafe, book a play centre for any older kids for after, or shop for some lovely gifts, flowers and plants next door

New obsession unlocked… At home family photoshoots. This has been on my vision plan for years so I was so excited on the drive down to Wilmslow, Cheshire. Excitement level 100 for this sweet photoshoot! I was the first session in my new space and welcoming back this bunch of kiddos made it even more special! Photographing the welcoming of little Lilias into their family. Big sister Elsie and big brothers Wyatt & Wesley where the definition of excitement too! Telling me all the new things they have been up to since we last had a catch up and of course the excitement of their new baby 🥰 newborn bubbles are so special and hold so many core memories for older siblings.

Big sisters obsessing over their newborn baby sisters is quite possibly my favourite moment to photograph. Partly because I am the baby sister and partly because I have 2 girls, so I feel all the excitement of things to come for little ones on their new journey together 🥰 🥹

Now obviously it’s not all rainbows and sunshine girls are strong willed and the disagreements can be explosive but some moments make you stop in your tracks and realise your doing something right. Yesterday after Rosie had a little accident in school and we needed to go to hospital she kept asking for her sister, she said she just wanted a cuddle from her big sister 🥰

Stepping into something softer… and so much more me 🌿
From April I’ll be photographing in a new studio space at in Halsall. Surrounded by fields, natural light, and that calm, easy feeling I’m always drawn to.

And the best part? The dreamiest neighbours .and.seek
It’s the kind of place you can make a whole morning of… slow coffee, a wander, your session and even book some outdoor play in Wild and Seek. And see the beautiful home of Reformme Boutique Pilates and fitness studio.

I can’t wait to welcome you here.
From April onwards all sessions will be held at the new space (around 20 mins from my current studio).

Childhood, raised my the beach, messy hair, sandy toes and a lot of wild fun! Family photos don’t need to be posed, boring. They should feel fun, be structured around play, cuddles and more play! The results will give you family photos that make you remember this wild and fun era of their childhood, how they loved to run and jump the waves and how their hand fitted in yours. Formby beach is my favourite place to spend time with my own little ones, a childhood of beach days out is something to cherish and I will hold onto for as long as they will let me!
