To date since getting back on his feet he’s done over 17,000 miles around the United Kingdom. I’ve been riding for 4 years so far, my first motorcycle was a Lexmoto Isca 125, I learned how to ride a geared bike myself, once I figured out the bite point I went onto the road and started racking on the miles. Ever since I’ve always wanted more and to create content, sharing my journey across YouTube
and Instagram. I eventually was forced to give up motorcycling for a long time as I had a major crash on 9th July 2021, I was hit head on by a BMW whilst riding home almost bleeding out I was rushed to emergency surgery. Since then I’ve acquired very serious injuries that’ll affect me for life, but that didn’t stop me. After spending 4 months in hospital, another 5 months bed bound, I taught myself how to walk again, and sat my MOD 2 and passed in May 2022. I didn’t ever think I could walk again after suffering the amount of fractures and other scares with infections I thought I’d loose my leg. I had a complete compound fracture of the femur, open ankle fracture, open heel fracture, plastic surgery and leg/muscle reconstruction. I’m lucky to be here but I’m still trying to be okay with how I am. Since passing my motorcycle test, I already had my Yamaha Tracer 700 in house, so I put insurance on, and started gathering the miles I lost out on. To date 16 March 2023 I’ve covered over 18000 miles on it. I love riding, specially now as my mental status is hindered by the crash and more reasons I’ll not get into. However riding has given me that freedom and just open scenery with fantastic friends I’ve met along the way. I started my own group to also help others who are struggling, and giving them the opportunity to ride with one another at events, it’s truly heart warming seeing everyone smiling and enjoying riding together as one. I will continue to ride until I can’t, but until then I plan for track days and travelling the world! Stay tuned!
