Ever feel like you’re sprinting through life but seeing nothing at all?

Filmed right here Liverpool, our short film “A Call Away” explores the invisible walls we build in our modern, hyper-connected lives.

Inspired by the powerful Homeless Jesus sculpture by Timothy Schmalz this film is a poignant reminder of the people we pass every day but fail to truly see.

While we’re lost in the rush of the Hollywood of the North, “A Call Away” challenges us to stop, break the cycle of busy-ness, and reconnect with the humanity right next to us.

Every time I walk in the city, even with my phone I start capturing some stuff.. sometimes it feels like I capture the same thing over and over again but tell me if your eyes gets tired of looking this place? Plus every time the light is different so it’s something different of the same if that makes sense? 😛

We don’t need to over complicate these things… people ask me to create videos with tons of transitions and effects while the message becomes the second thing…

Let’s comeback to the basics… we need videos out there that communicate the message that was intended in the first place.

What’s your story?

I’ve created this video probably around 2 or 3 years ago and I just found it on my stuff… I always enjoy going around the city and capture something and make it cinematic. Although time’s hard now to keep up with a hobby while having to do some paid work ..the feeling when I watch these back it’s great..

If you’re new here, I use this page for some street (mainly liverpool) video and photography and some work as well.. you all know I don’t post a lot of my paid work here but that you can check on my bio a link to my website.

By the way.. if you know any cool place around for filming, please let me know ;)
