The Fen Edge Festival was on fire yesterday! 🔥📸

I had the pleasure of taking five photographers around the festival, sharing my approach to event photography and helping them capture the moments that make events like this so special.

It was fantastic to see the turnout, the atmosphere, and the enthusiasm from everyone involved.

Event photography is a real passion of mine. It's about more than just taking photos; it's about documenting people, telling stories, preserving memories, and helping events continue to grow for years to come.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined the workshop and to the Fen Edge Festival team for having us.

Colour, scale, atmosphere. It completely transforms the space.

When the workday ends at 5pm… and the Tour de Cambridge rolls past at 5:15 🚴‍♂️

One of those only in Cambridge moments. A queue of cyclists patiently waiting to cross Pembroke Street, framed perfectly as the light began to fade.

It also feels like the perfect reminder to slow things down a little over the festive period.

That’s exactly what From Light to Dark is about.
A relaxed evening of street photography, cameras in hand, no teaching, no instruction, no pressure. Just wandering, chatting, shooting, and enjoying the city together.
