I'm really excited to be going to the final round of this years British GT Championship at Brands Hatch a the end of the month. It's a race track I've never been to before, but have seen lots of great images, and I'm looking forward to exploring the track for myself.
It was great seeing these machines pushed to their limits earlier in the year at Oulton Park, and I think for this occasion at a new location, I maybe tempted to hire a new piece of glass!

These are my four favourite image I took from last year's Gold Cup.
All of these images were created using tips and techniques learnt from the tuition of Richard Towler Photography and then edited in my own style, with which I tried to create authentic looking images from the era they portray.
Super proud that the top black and white image made it into the top 50 of last years Amateur Motorsport Photography Awards. To have got that sort of recognition, to me, was a very proud achievement!

Oulton Park's Gold Cup event takes place next weekend. The jewel in their seasonal calendar.
I was lucky enough to attend last year as part of a Trackside Focus workshop, with the very talented Richard Towler Photography as our professional mentor. It was a great experience to learn from him, and hone my skills as a motorsport photographer.
