Very lucky to have at least two pairs of Cuckoos on the fen where we live, hearing them is easy (usually at 5 o’clock sharp in the morning!!) but seeing them is all so difficult.
Very lucky to have to have this one pose before they all fly away mid June.
Very tight crop but lovely to see all the same.
Off to buy some ear plugs!

Just love this time of year, we have so many nesting birds around the fens in Lincolnshire but my favourites so far are the nesting Great T**s in the back garden.
The noise they all make when food arrives!
