Taken during the pandemic. Whilst people around the world were experiencing a lockdown, more likely in small spaces, I spent mine in a little farm by the mountains on the outskirts of the city of Bogotá, Colombia where I felt small. There was more time to observe, to listen, to appreciate. The birds kept visiting. I tried to stay still in the attempt to capture them in their own moment.

I couldn’t choose just one, which one do you like the most? 1,2,3 4? :)

It is always nice to visit spaces dedicated to art. This time, Marzio Callegari and I had the chance to attend to the launch party in London of In Defiance; the 1st issue of Bosla Arts’zine showcasing the work of 7 different artists around the world. Their work draws upon their experience with censorship, exclusion, oppression and more.
It was also nice to see the work of Colombian artist EllaYeraldina, who’s illustrations represent the issues of being a racialized woman. Her art focuses on topics such as -feminism, fashion, the anti-racist struggle, gender issues, social causes-.

MIND-SET is now screening virtually in the US until the 17th of April and will be part of the live festival Cinequest in San Jose, California between the 16th and 29th of August!

Absolutely thrilled to announce that Mind-set has now been selected at the terrific Cinequest Film Festival for its US premiere. The film will screen virtually in 🇺🇲 between 1-17 April and will then be part of the live festival in San Jose California 16-29 August. Cinequest

Around two weeks ago, the film not only did it premier at the Manchester Film Festival , but it also won Best UK Feature Film!! ✨🎬
It is so rewarding seeing what a great team work can lead to. I am so happy for the news and want to congratulate everyone who was part of it!!
To more festivals and films!

Last weekend we had the best day with our wonderful team at our world premiere

Making an indie feature is incredibly tough, so having the support of all of these beauties made the process so much simpler. Big shout out to all of our collaborators who aren't pictured.
