I get asked a lot what I do for a living?

The quick answer is that I fly drones,

but there is a lot more involved than just;
1. Ensuring that CAA flight regulations are kept up to date.
2. Planning a project and creating a comprehensive Risk Assessment.
3. Knowing how to fly the correct drone for the job.
4. Ensuring your flight plan and Flight zones are clear to fly, and all notifications have been completed.
5. Planning the actual job, working with your team to ensure everything is safe.

There is also;

7. Setting up PPK / RTK GCP's
8. Checking weather, and everything else for a safe flight.
9. Processing the Video or in the below case photographs utilising the right software to create an Ortho Photo / Digital Twin / 3d Model.
10 Processing the data for the client, either GIS, surveying, urban development, environmental management, or infrastructure projects, acting as a true-to-scale visual layer for mapping details.

The fun bit about my job is that I get to be outside a lot of the time, Unless I am flying in a confined space! (which is another level of fun!
