University was such a whirlwind and I still cant believe its over. The dust has finally settled and here are my final images, I cant believe its taken me this long to share them with you.

This production of this project was something I really enjoyed and am so SO proud of. Throughout this year I faced some very difficult hurdles but I believe that only made me work harder.
In this project I wanted to highlight feminism as a movement that includes everyone, of every age, race, ability and gender. Toxic Masculinity embodies a series of traits that are forced upon boys whilst growing up.
Dont talk about your feelings. Boys dont cry. Grow some balls. Real men dont like that or wear that... Etc. All something we've heard at some point or another.

I wanted to show, through a series of images that there is so much more to being masculine than society will have you believe. Why is a man crying considered so taboo? Why is a man in makeup automatically assumed to be gay or in drag?

Hopefully this project highlights the aspects of masculinity that are so fragile in todays society and that they maybe make people question why this upsets them and what type of people are upset by something so trivial as a man in makeup. A real man is whatever he wants himself to be.
