One image. A whole atmosphere.
I recently spent time at a local tattoo studio in Staffordshire, quietly observing and photographing the space. No posing, no setup — just the natural rhythm of the room. The buzz of machines, the focus of the artists, the stories unfolding in the background… it all spoke volumes.
That experience sparked a personal project: documenting real, unscripted moments in creative spaces across Staffordshire, South Derbyshire, and the West Midlands. It’s not commercial — just a passion piece that may become a photobook or exhibition.
If you’re part of a studio, gym, workshop, or any space where creativity flows, and you’d be open to a relaxed visit, I’d love to quietly capture the vibe. Always with full respect for your boundaries.

Last month I was asked to provide images for a blog project, artist profiles to be posted onto the website over the next few months.
The blog belonging to the Underground Tattoo Studio Walsall.
When I arrived at the studio, my subject for this session, Lauren had already started working on her client (James). This was a live shoot, real people and a real session

This weekend on the Sunday, I went with the Family to Barton Steam Rally, First time Visiting and a lot of people, Not to big, but enough to do for the few hours we were there, The Proceeds went to the Midlands Air Ambulance, with everything tightly packed and overhead powerlines it was difficult to get decent angle on the old engines, I thought it would be fitting to edit in the style of the 1930, adding a bit of grain to the black and white image.
