We love meeting couples who are intentional about their wedding. They think carefully about what matters most to them and create a day that reflects those things.

From our very first call with Lou & Owen, we had that sense. Their questions, their plans, the flow of the day, and the heart behind their wedding were a true reflection of who they are as a couple. They were such a joy to photograph.

Capturing their wedding:

We wanted to bring romance, joy, and a calm look into their images. One thing that immediately caught our attention was how intentional and thoughtful they are. Their relationship is beautiful, and it was important for us to allow that to come through naturally during their portraits, even in the middle of busy London.

They had a first look in a private garden and spent some quiet time together before the ceremony. For the rest of the day, we didn’t want to interrupt the natural flow of events. Every moment was candid and real, which is our favourite way to photograph a wedding. The result was a collection of images that reflects their connection with each other and with the people they love.

They wanted a day that felt like them, and they achieved that so well. A day that showed you can have a meaningful & elegant wedding that still feels relaxed & fun. ≣ …and our 2025 season began with Rachel + Michael’s intimate wedding // It felt so good to be back after a short break. It’s a year filled with wonderful weddings and after recovering from all sorts of winter viruses the past few weeks, we are ready and cannot wait!

≣ The best description for Becky and Milo’s day is joy! From the beginning to the end of the day, everything felt like a big warm hug. Becky is a fan of colour, and she incorporated it in such a beautiful way.

For their wedding photos, as we were planning, we wanted to embrace the colours and highlight the fun aspects of their relationship that we witnessed during their pre-wedding shoot, while also capturing the cosiness of autumn and the venue, which brings that homely feeling.

Aswarby Rectory has been one of the locations we’ve wanted to photograph for a while, and it didn’t disappoint. The way the autumn light falls on the venue is so soft and gorgeous! We couldn’t stop capturing it!

It felt so good to be part of their day, and it felt so natural too!

You’ll probably see this wedding here quite often. ;)

A + J //

The last wedding of August was one of those days that left us with our hearts full. Amy & Jonathan’s day was one of those weddings that reminded us why we chose wedding photography a few years ago. When we left for our meal, I (Nanda) was actually emotional about how special their day felt. It was not about things that come and go, or to impress social media. They wanted the day to be all about their relationship with each other and their family & closest friends. It didn’t follow a specific script or traditions. They got changed in the same room (in different times), did a first look, had time with their guests before their civil ceremony which was followed by a wonderful ceremony outdoors conducted by a celebrant. No agenda, just connection.
From the moment we arrived, we felt immediately at home with them and their loved ones. We could feel the love that their friends had for them simply by the way they not only supported them but were there for them. The rain that kept trying to show up took a break and they could have the ceremony outside as they really hoped. It was special in many ways. Plus these two are seriously one of the kindest couples we have photographed and made us feel like we were fully part of their day.
Truly grateful they chose us to capture their day!

They chose to get married in a very meaningful location for Katherine - the place she grew up. An idyllic village in Rutland.
When we got their enquiry, they mentioned that she used to see the church they got married from her bedroom window and that this place held a very special place in her life. Oliver is also a photographer & videographer - which is always an honour for us, but we knew instantly that they would not only value having beautiful photos, but also understand the process behind creating them.
They are also two kind and incredible people and it was such an honour to be their photographers.
