I'm SO excited to be running themed Autumn mini sessions this year! Think a beautiful autumn backdrop, cozy props, and gorgeous golden images to keep forever 🀩

Here's what's included:

Sarah & Tom's engagement shoot was almost entirely shot from behind, or mid-conversation, or walking somewhere neither of them were thinking about me. That's not an accident β€” it's genuinely the whole method. Give two people somewhere nice to walk, golden hour light, and about twenty minutes without direction, and this is what happens.

If the idea of an engagement shoot makes you want to hide, I promise this is what it actually feels like from the inside: a walk, some laughing, maybe a kiss on a bridge. Not a photoshoot.

Before the band, before the big group photo β€” this. 🚜

Katrine and David's celebration had a toy tractor, a giant bouncy pillow, and a very determined goat. That's the bit people don't always picture when they imagine booking a wedding photographer: sometimes the brief isn't "capture the ceremony," it's "capture our whole day, however unconventional it looks."

This is exactly the kind of celebration I love shooting β€” because there's no script to follow, just people being completely themselves.

Not every celebration looks like a church and a marquee. Sometimes it looks like this. 🎺

Katrine & David got married, welcomed their little one, and decided to celebrate both at once β€” with a full festival setup at Thornton Hall Country Park, live music from Deadbeat Brass, and every single person they love in one place for one photo.

Getting 100+ people to laugh genuinely for a group shot isn't about lining everyone up and counting to three β€” it's about picking the moment right after something funny actually happens. This one took a few tries, and it was worth every one of them.

If your "wedding" doesn't look like a traditional wedding at all β€” good. I'd love to help you tell that story too.

Rain didn’t stand a chance against this love 🌧️🀍

Freja knew exactly what she needed on her wedding morning: calm. So instead of a big bridal suite, she got ready at home β€” familiar walls, her own sofa, and her little girl playing around without a hint of wedding-day stress😍 Absolutley adore the chilled mornings, perfect chance to capture beautiful memories ❀️

Then we headed to Brockholes, the beautiful nature reserve just outside Preston, for the ceremony overlooking the lake😍

And of course β€” it rained. On and off, all day.🌨️

Did Freja care? Not for a second!

When it was time for couple portraits, she and Andy just... threw the umbrella away🀩 Stood in the rain. Wrapped their arms around each other and laughed like nobody was watching.
I was genuinely in awe πŸ₯° One of my favourite moments I’ve ever captured.

Freja and Andy met in Lancaster seven years ago, and along the way built a beautiful little family together. Nature-lovers, board-game champions, and two of the most relaxed, loved-up people I’ve had the privilege of photographing.

If this wedding taught me anything, it’s this: the second you let go of the β€œwhat ifs,” the good stuff shows up β€” rain and all ✨
