71 is fully kitted out for black and white and alternative darkroom printing and available to hire for those with previous darkroom experience. Equipped with Paterson developing tanks, film drying cabinet, lightbox, and with all standard chemicals supplied - we have all you need for black and white film processing and printing. I’ll be having a print sale this Saturday from 12pm-4pm at 71 in Lewes. ⚡️

Lots of darkroom prints and framed images at bargain prices. I’m moving and they can’t come with me! ⚡️

It’s also the last day of the gallery at 71 so we’ll be having cake and plenty of good cheer. Be great to see you there 🥰

Verso : a reflection on the family album

I’m currently showing some early work of my new project Verso for alongside Bill Brooks new project Veiled.

Our exhibition is on now till 26th Oct, Thurs-Sat 11am-5pm

Opening this week, I will be showing the beginnings of my new project Verso for at

Verso is a reflection on the family archive. Pairing my own images with ones from a recently discovered family archive similarities are revealed in shared traits, traditions, and values that have passed unknowingly through generations.

Verso will be shown alongside Veiled by . Taken at Arundel Cathedral during the latter part of the Lenten period, Bills latest series raises questions on the act of concealment.

The exhibition opens on Saturday 5th and runs through till 26th (Thurs - Sat 11am -5pm) I’ll be in the gallery on Saturday so hope to see you there.

This Saturday I’ll be at pop up in Newhaven 🤩

I’m selling darkroom prints as well as a few giclee prints, some at discounted prices (ooh!). It’s set to be a great show with some excellent artists and designers. Come say hi and grab some whilst you’re there!
