I have always been passionate about photography, and I feel so lucky to have a career which I absolutely love, and which challenges and inspires me in new ways with every single shoot I do. I love shooting portraits in particular, whether it's photographing a beautiful bride walking down the aisle, capturing a tender moment between a new mother and a baby, or simply taking gorgeous pictures of my

own family whilst enjoying a day out in the countryside. My style is very much informal and relaxed, particularly when shooting a wedding - I like to remain as much in the background as possible to allow you to get on with enjoying your special day. I love to be guided by the people I'm working with so if you have a particular style or specific ideas for the type of photos you'd like me to achieve then please do let me know and I'll always be really happy to take these shots for you. Equally I'm very creative and confident in finding interesting angles and locations for all of my photo shoots, so if you're feeling lost and don't quite know where to start then I'm also happy to take more of a lead if you'd like me to - I'm very flexible and can give you as much or as little guidance as you'd like to make you feel comfortable during your photoshoot.

✨ WEDDING WISDOM FRIDAY! ✨

I’m dropping a weekly tip to help you stay zen and looking your absolute best. Today’s lesson? The Ultimate Beauty Secret. 💧🥂

It’s easy to get swept up in the champagne toasts, but don’t forget to hydrate! Dehydration actually shows up in your skin and eyes by the time the evening rolls around. It will also help your energy levels and you'll have clearer memories of your special day by making sure you balance the alcohol to water ratio.

If you want to look as fresh for your late-night sparkler exit as you did for your walk down the aisle, keep a bottle of water nearby all day. Your skin (and your photographer) will thank you for that natural glow.

Let’s be honest: there is nothing quite like that "just married" feeling as you walk through a cloud of glorious colour!

As a photographer, the confetti exit is one of my absolute favourite moments to capture, but it’s also one of the fastest. If you want those epic, Pinterest-worthy shots, you need a little bit of strategy.

Here are my top 3 tips for the ultimate confetti explosion:

1. Go Big and Bold
If you want the confetti to actually show up in your photos, size matters. For the most impactful shot, opt for large, round, colourful paper confetti. The surface area catches the light beautifully and stays in the air longer, giving us that gorgeous "floating" effect. Of course you will need to check with your venue what is and isn't allowed.

2. The "Up and Over" Rule
Ask your bridal party to remind guests not to throw the confetti at your faces (nobody wants a mouthful of paper during their first walk as newlyweds!). Instead, tell them to aim high into the air. This creates a beautiful canopy of colour that falls gracefully around you rather than blocking your smiles.

3. Take Your Time
It’s tempting to run through the gauntlet, but try to walk slowly, keep your chin up, and enjoy the moment! Stop for a kiss halfway through, it gives me the perfect chance to lock focus while the confetti is at its thickest.

Pro Tip: Always check with your venue first to ensure you’re using biodegradable options!

✨ WEDDING WISDOM FRIDAY! ✨

I’m back with your weekly tip to keep your day stress-free and your photos iconic. Today’s special ingredient? The Secret to Perfect Photos. 🤫

Here’s the truth: the best photos happen the moment you actually stop worrying about the photos.

Whether it rains, your hem gets a little grubby, or the cake starts to lean, just lean into it. Your genuine joy and laughter are what actually make a photo "good," not perfect lighting or a smudge-free dress. When you let go of perfection, that’s when the magic shows up in your gallery! ✨

✨ WEDDING WISDOM FRIDAY! ✨

When the celebrant says those magic words, don’t rush the "First Kiss!" Hold it for a few extra seconds (think a slow count of three). Not only does this give me plenty of time to capture that perfect, iconic "hero shot" from the best angle, but it’s guaranteed to get your wedding party whooping and cheering even louder! 🥳

✨ WEDDING WISDOM FRIDAY! ✨

I’m dropping a weekly tip to help you stay zen and avoid those "I wish I’d known that!" moments. Today’s lesson? The Magic Buffer. ⏱️

Everything, literally everything, takes 15 minutes longer than you think it will. From putting on your shoes to getting into the car, time has a way of disappearing on your wedding morning!

The Fix: Pad your timeline. Give yourself that extra breathing room so your "getting ready" photos feel like a fun hang, not a frantic sprint. A schedule is a guide, not a cage, give yourself space to actually breathe and soak it all in.
