It's your last chance this weekend to catch the Leigh Art Trail with more than 60 artists exhibiting across the town in shops, galleries, cafes and churches.

I'll be at my venue, the amazing Pompom florists on the Broadway, from around 10am on Saturday July 12th and Sunday July 13th if you'd like to chat street photography and see my images of people hurling themselves into the Estuary.

You can pick up a Trail Guide at any of the 50 venues - they're all marked by colourful A-boards outside - and plot your route. Don't miss out, there's so much incredible stuff to see.

See you on the Trail!

I'm thrilled to have eight images on show at Southend's Beecroft Gallery from Saturday February 22nd until Sunday May 11th as part of a new exhibition: Into the Zone: Journeys in the Thames Estuary.

You can also see the work of this very talented bunch: Anna Kroeger, Anna Lukala, Arbonauts, David George, Ian Tokelove, Gerolamo Gnecchi and Sylak Ravenspine, Michael Upton and Mike Seaborne.

The exhibition’s title refers to the film Stalker (Dir. Andrei Tarkovsky 1979, USSR), which was released in the UK 45 years ago and tells the story of three men who arrange an expedition to a mysterious zone, to seek a room where dreams are granted.

Each of the artists involved interrogate the estuary from different vantages and through exploratory journeys. My contribution is entitled "a dream of flying".

Do drop by if you're in Southend...

It's your last chance this weekend to catch all the brilliant work being exhibited around town for the Leigh Art Trail. Grab a map in any of the 50 venues, plot your route and - if you fancy - call on me at Venue 20, the blooming lovely BelleRose Flower Boutique, and have a gander at my stuff. I'm there all day Saturday 10-5. It would be fab to see you.

The 2024 Leigh Art Trail is up and running and a massive thank you to everybody who dodged the showers to drop by Venue 20 and see my work today. I'll be in BelleRose Flower Boutique most mornings throughout the week and all day Saturday July 13th if you're interested in what happens when a photographer goes on a wild goose chase...

Three weeks to go until the Leigh Art Trail which kicks off on Saturday July 6th and continues in 50 venues across town until Sunday July 14th.

You'll be able to find me once again at Leigh's premier florist BelleRose Flower Boutique and this year I'm showing images inspired by the arrival on the estuary each autumn of thousands of brent geese from Siberia.

Check out the Trail's website and social media for heaps more info on the 70 or so artists taking parts, and all the exciting stuff planned for what promises to be a fabulous week.
