An outdoor photoshoot really is perfect for all ages and extended families.... but even more so to little ones who love running around and are perhaps too young to bribe 🙂

Autumn is practically here and I have to say it is such a good time for an outdoor session. Mostly still warm enough to not need a big coat, beautiful light and pretty natural outdoorsy colours !

The best news is there is still time to get yours booked in for 2023 🦔

Something I've heard a lot recently is "I'm worried my child won't play ball" I'm right there with you. Let me tell you, this guy here is a tough client! ( he is mine so I can say that 🤣)

He doesn't play ball. He doesn't sit still for a second, he wont smile on command and he wont give me much time to get a photo before he's off!

But I know how to get the best from him without a melt down. I know when enough is enough & I know when I can get a good reaction from him. Not because he's mine - that does help in some ways but it also makes getting a nice photo harder sometimes - but because I pick up on his cues and I let him lead.

That's what I do with all my kiddies, I let them think they're in charge ( some actually are 😂 ) I let them dictate the session.

If they want to run around, great! I'll get them sitting still for a second after when heir legs are tired! It's normal & It's my job to make it fun! So never worry that your little ones wont 'behave'
