I never understood why I was drawn to photography. Why my phones memory would be full of over 5 thousand pics in my gallery.
What was it about me and photography? I did my HND and a few bits after college and put my camera away for years. Like I had fallen out with it, I resented it.

But very recently I have fallen head over heels in love with it again. Not just live music photos, all of it, the day to day bits. I got myself a small Kodak 35mm and it excites me so much.

It excites me because I now understand. I didn’t choose photography. Photography connected me to this life. Anchored my feet to the ground.

I’m going to be putting a lot of love and energy into a very personal series of images that will probably always be ongoing.

I will go into more details as and when I make this project and when it feels right.

I can’t wait to work on a very personal project called - CPTSD and me.
