(239)

We don’t ‘do’ standard wedding photography. We see your photography differently. We grew from a desire to create a more personal type of photography – remarkable imagery and memories, unique to you that turn a wedding into Your Perfect Day. Because we take time beforehand to get to know you – your likes and dislikes, your lifestyle and expectations – you’ll more feel relaxed in front of the camera

, and confident in getting results you’ll be thrilled with. Forget the standard posed images you usually see, instead expect natural and stunning portraiture that is contemporary, extraordinary and unique to you. If we were a band – we’d be ACDC, The Beatles or the Ramones; we wouldn’t be Westlife or an X Factor winner. We’re artistic rather than manufactured. We pride ourselves on a friendly, enthusiastic and transparent service, and promise to help make Your Perfect Day just that – perfect.

This is a real callback. A genuine throwback to 2016. Yep, 10 years ago.

Amy and Kola's wedding was epic. One of those days packed with fun, adventure, and unforgettable moments. Shustoke barns never disappoints.

And I specifically remember this guest because I was completely obsessed with his sunglasses. I love clothes. I love sunglasses.

So naturally, I couldn't stop looking at them.

After chatting with him and admiring those incredible shades, an idea hit me: what if I could get Amy and Kohler reflected in the lenses?

I quickly positioned him near the couple, dropped the couple beautifully out of focus in the foreground, and lined everything up so their reflection sat perfectly in his glasses. It probably took about 20 seconds of shuffling everyone into place, but it resulted in an absolute banger of a photo.

Ten years later, it's still one of those images I come back to and smile at.

So Amy and Kola - if you're out there, it's been 10 years... and I've definitely not forgotten about you.

I know. I get it.

Sometimes I frustrate myself.

I've spent years becoming known as the chaos guy. The colour guy. The creative guy. The "how the hell did he do that?" guy.

And the truth is, I am that guy.

But lately I've been thinking... I can be other kinds of guy too.

The quiet guy.

The observational guy.

The guy who notices the in-between moments.

The funny thing is, these aren't new parts of me. They've always been there. I capture those moments all the time. I just don't share them as often.

So people see one side and assume that's the whole story.

Maybe that's on me.

Not because I've changed, but because I've only been showing one gear.

The chaos will always be there. The colour isn't going anywhere. Neither is the creativity.

But maybe it's time to make a little more room for the quieter moments too.

Not as a rebrand.

Just as a reminder that there's more than one way to tell a story.

Captured on an outstanding adventure.

Welcome to the greatest show starring Kim & Terry!

For two true cinephiles, a traditional wedding was never on the cards. From Spider-Man and Slimer to Jurassic Park dinosaurs and a surprise Back to the Future DeLorean, every detail was packed with personality, style, and movie magic.

Their love of cinema inspired some of my most creative wedding photography ideas yet, including a cinematic movie poster image that feels more at home on the big screen than above the mantelpiece.

This gallery is a perfect blend of chaos, emotion, nostalgia, and two people having the best day of their lives. If you're looking for different wedding photography with a cinematic twist, this one's for you.

Throwing it back to Emily & Guy’s incredible DIY festival wedding, a day that perfectly captured everything a wedding should be: relaxed, joyful, personal, and packed with unforgettable moments.

Held in their local village hall and brought to life with African-inspired touches throughout, this celebration was a true reflection of who they are as a couple.

From the moment guests arrived, there was a sense that this wasn’t going to be a traditional wedding. Handmade décor filled every corner, colourful details added warmth and personality, and the atmosphere felt more like a summer festival than a formal event.

Outside, the BBQ was in full swing, drinks were flowing, and friends and family gathered together to soak up the sunshine, laughter, and good vibes.

As the day turned into evening, the celebrations only grew louder. The dance floor stayed busy, glasses stayed topped up, and the village hall became the backdrop for one of those weddings that nobody wanted to leave.

A beautiful reminder that you don’t need extravagant venues or elaborate plans to create something truly special, just great people, plenty of love, and a celebration that feels authentically you.

Emily & Guy, your wedding was an absolute joy to be part of and remains one of our favourite festival-inspired celebrations to date.

I love simple ideas. Shape, form, and colour are the building blocks of any creative image, but for me they all serve one purpose: mood.

Mood can be loud or quiet, joyful or sombre, but it's what gives an image its power.

This photograph, created at the beautiful with its incredible moon arch, is one of my favourites. In many ways, it was a very simple image to create.

I positioned the couple within the moon arch to create symmetry, placed a flash behind them with a coloured gel to echo the warmth of the setting sun, and then bounced that light into a mirror beneath my lens to create the watery reflection below.

As photographers, sometimes we work with what's in front of us. Other times, we work with what's in front of us and add just a little something extra.

This image is the perfect example of that balance: a real moment, shaped by the scene, enhanced by a touch of creative vision.

I know, I know. I always say it.

"Best clients ever." - - "Most creative work ever."

At this point, even I'm rolling my eyes at myself.

But Connor & Emma's wedding? Ridiculously good.

They asked for something chilled and relaxed.

Naturally, I arrived with ideas that were colourful, chaotic, slightly unhinged, and involved far more running about than anyone had originally planned.

Somehow, against all odds, it worked.

The truth is, Connor & Emma gave me the freedom to throw every weird idea at the wall and see what stuck. Their patience, trust, and ability to humour a photographer who occasionally looks possessed by inspiration brought out some of my favourite work in years.

And maybe it was venue which happened to be a distillery.

Maybe it was the brewery. Maybe there was something fermenting in the air besides the drinks. Whatever it was, this wedding had an extra kick to it.

So thank you, Connor & Emma, for indulging me and embracing the chaos.

Fair warning to everyone else: I don't think you're remotely prepared for how bonkers this gallery is about to be.

Throwing it back to Marcus & Kate’s incredible wedding at Dodford Manor.

Their day was packed with personality, laughter, and a healthy dose of friendly competition, with garden games bringing everyone together throughout the celebrations. Makes sense as they actually met at a board gaming night, bonding over dungeons and dragons.

This golden hour image was captured through the holes of a Connect 4 board, turning a simple game into a unique frame for a moment.

Sometimes the most magical photographs come from seeing things a little differently and applying some creative direction.

I’ve always been drawn to colour, movement, and the beautifully chaotic moments that make every wedding unique.

But lately, I’ve been reminding myself that sometimes less really is more. When you strip everything back and focus on genuine emotion, that’s where the magic lives.

This image from Vienna's Wedding is a perfect example of that.

It’s easily one of my favourite photographs from this year. There’s something about it that just feels timeless.

I’ve also been spending a lot of time refining my editing style, pushing beyond flat, block colours and creating images that feel richer, more emotional, and more impactful.

Finding inspiration outside my usual sphere - in this case my love of the TV show Twin Peaks.

Right now, I’m embracing the process, trusting my instincts, and genuinely loving where it’s taking me.

I'm known for approaching wedding photography a little differently.

The hero shots are important, but they're often the easiest part. Put two people together, ask them to interact, and something beautiful usually follows.

What interests me more is questioning the things we do without thinking.

Why do we always take confetti photos standing up?
Why is confetti almost always photographed vertically?
What happens if we flip the whole idea on its head?
So instead of throwing confetti around a couple, we had them lie down and let the confetti fall onto them.

The result feels less like a confetti shot and more like a memory. A moment suspended somewhere between chaos and calm.

Some of my favourite images start this way. Taking something ordinary, asking "why?", and seeing where curiosity leads.

Because wedding days are built from more than the big moments. They're built from ideas, interactions, experiments, and all the beautiful in-between pieces that make the day uniquely theirs.
