My first job experience in a restaurant.
I had the pleasure of photographing at this amazing Indian restaurant, “ Curry Fever “ on Belgrave Road Leicester. The restaurant has been running for 42 long years and has won many awards.
On the day of shooting, I set myself up near the window using ambient light which is best for food shots. However it was a gloomy day and since I was using a tripod, I had the advantage of lowering my shutter speed and still getting sharp photos. I used 50 ml prime lens which is perfect for food photography. The downside was that I had to shoot in a hurry as I was told to be quick because the food would get cold as it was being served to customers. So I had a limited time to focus and think about the composition and pay attention to small details.
Overall it was such a lovely experience and all the staff were fabulous
