You know what I wish more women understood?
Bo***ir is not just for relationships.
Or husbands.
Or anniversaries.

You are enough of a reason on your own.
And those are usually the most powerful shoots of all.

The funniest part of my job?

Watching women arrive convinced they’ll be “the awkward one.”
And then 20 minutes later they’re laying across furniture like they’ve been modelling for Vogue since birth

I promise you this experience is SO much more relaxed than people imagine.
We laugh.
We hype each other up.
We play music.
We fix bra straps.
We hype the b***y.

We celebrate every tiny little moment where you start seeing yourself differently.
There is no pressure to “perform.”
You just have to show up.
I’ll handle the rest 🖤

Real talk for a second…
The women who book bo***ir sessions are not all super confident women walking around feeling sexy 24/7.

Most are:
• burnt out
• overwhelmed
• picking themselves apart daily
• disconnected from their bodies
• pouring into everyone else first
And honestly, that’s WHY they book.

Not because they already feel incredible.
But because they want to feel something again.
I see so many women walk in carrying years of self criticism and walk out standing taller.
Not because I “fixed” them.

But because they finally allowed themselves to be seen differently.
And that shift is powerful as hell.

What’s one thing you wish you believed about yourself more?

Some of you are waiting until you lose weight.
Some of you are waiting until life calms down.
Until the kids are older.
Until work is less stressful.
Until you feel more confident.
Until you feel more worthy.
And I just wonder how many years women spend delaying themselves.
Because here’s what I’ve learned after photographing so many women…

Confidence is not usually the thing that comes BEFORE the shoot.
It’s what happens because of it.
You don’t magically wake up one morning loving yourself.

Sometimes you have to actively DO the thing that reconnects you with yourself again.
And maybe this is your reminder that you are allowed to exist in photographs now.
Not “one day.”
Not “after.”
Now.

I need you to know this before you ever book a shoot with me…
You do NOT need to know how to pose.
Like at all.

The amount of women who arrive saying:
“Please help me because I’m awkward as hell.”
That is literally my job.
I will guide you through EVERYTHING.
From your fingers to your toes.
Where to look.
What to do with your hands.
How to breathe.
How to arch.
How to relax your face.

You are not expected to magically turn up knowing how to model.

For me, half the magic comes from watching women go from:
“I can’t do this”
to
“wait… THAT’S ME?!”

The best photos almost never come from confidence first.
The confidence usually comes AFTER.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟REVIEW:
It has now been over a month since I had my first (But not Last), bo***ir shoot with Sarah. I have pretty much always wanted to do a bo***ir shoot from the moment I found out they were a thing. It only took 10 years to build up the confidence 😅 Well I found Sarah through a Google search and I’m so glad I did.

She made the entire process from start to finish one of ease, excitement, and confidence. When we started the process, I had decided I wanted this to be a birthday gift for myself and Sarah fully supported that! I had some iconic birthday shots done.

From the initial emails till now, she has been on top of communication and providing support in every way. Her payment plans made it possible for me to be able to have this wonderful experience. She called and explained everything and planned everything with me so you never feel like you’re not in control.

When I said I wanted to go with more of a vintage vibe, she sent me links and brought items from her collection that would fit the vibe. When I said I wanted to do a birthday cake and a champagne pop she said Yes. Why? Because she goes above and beyond to make your shoot special.

Day of the shoot she had a breakdown of what the day would entail with makeup and hair done first, shoot, lunch, and then reveal.

The actual shoot was a unique experience, I had never had professionally photos done but she guided me on the poses and what to do. (More than once, and very patiently 😅). She was constantly complimenting and smiling and I could just tell how much she loves her job. She had great music playing, professional, and provided enough direction where you don’t feel lost but also don’t feel like you’re being bossed around. She helped me with putting outfits on and again just went above and beyond. She worked fast when she had to, aka getting shots when the pose hurt to hold 🤣

After the shoot and getting lunch while she edited, was then the reveal. It was incredibly hard to get the picture count down to 40 because you just love it all. She is just amazing and I couldn’t recommend her enough. Next year is my 30th birthday so you already know what my birthday treat to myself will be ☺️
