Basford Hurst Cottage was originally erected in 1889 and housed the garages, stables, sewage pump and electricity generator for the main Basford Hurst House. It also provided living accommodation for the groom and chauffeur. Nowadays it is utilised as a living residence, but, the owners
felt it was wasted if no one ever got to see just how spectacular it was, not only on the outside but namely the inside! What does Basford Hurst have to offer? Basic amenities such as free WIFI, plenty of on site parking, toilets and basic kitchen facilities are provided as standard. The house itself is split into two parts, the old part built in 1889 and the new extension put on in 1996. Both have a wealth of shooting opportunities. Old Part

How much does Basford Hurst Cottage cost to hire? Basford Hurst Cottage is competitively priced and we are willing to discuss options depending on your individual requirements. As a base guide we charge the following for sole use of the property and all equipment for one photographer and one model. One Hour = £30
Two Hours = £60
Four Hours (Half Day) = £100
Eight Hours (Full Day) = £180
Additional photographers are charged at £30 and additional models at £15 per person respectively, regardless of the length of hire time. Pricing for studio days, workshops and events can be discussed on an individual basis. Our main focus is to have a space for everyone to enjoy - So - Please do message us to discuss your ideas. P.S .... All prices are inclusive of tea, biscuits and any other snacks that are required! (Just give us a little notice...!!)
A few important notes;
> Please respect our property as if it was your own. This is also our home and we absolutely adore it. We also want as many people to enjoy it as possible! Simply put - If you break it, you are liable to pay for it.
> We are happy for most levels of photography to be shot here - Up to tasteful n**e, mild erotic / fe**sh work. We do not wish to have any 'Adult' work, including cheesy glamour, salacious and pornographic images taken at our property. If you are unsure please ask - We would rather discuss it first.
> We do not currently require deposits for bookings - However - If we have persistent 'late cancellations' or no shows then we will have to think seriously about this. We completely understand that you can't plan for the unexpected, but, please give us a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to cancel so we can free up the space for someone else.
> Level pushing will not be tolerated at Basford. I am a model myself and I know what it can be like in the industry. This is a safe space and for that reason I will always be on hand should any issues arise. Please follow us on Instagram:
