Love this Boutique wedding venue.
Great Victoria, Bradford.
Ideally situated in the City Centre. Good Parking. Great outdoor space for group formals. Attentive, professional staff. (Pretty loyal too. Many lasted through lockdown and came out the other side.) Fabulous interior decor. Enough rooms to accommodate your entire wedding party. The best Penthouse in Yorkshire. What more could you ask?

I keep being asked if Madison Bou accommodates LBGTQ Weddings. (4 requests this week, which is unusual) - Maybe we've increased in the search engines for this term or maybe other wedding photographers have said "no". (Surely, in 2021, homophobia is far less than it used to be?)
Why wouldn't we do LGBTQ weddings?

2 days before the end of lockdown rules, with restrictions still in place. However did this wedding still turn out to be totally fabulous? So much fun on the day. Nothing was too much for the incredible staff at the Grand Hotel in York. The couple didn't get stressed by anything, even when they had to change plans and re-arrange things. The guests were in total party mod. Genuinely - a total success for everybody. What a wonderful day!

Finally - A new kind of normal for weddings in Yorkshire and the UK...
There are no legal restrictions on the number of people that can attend a wedding, civil partnership, reception or celebration. As well as that, the legal requirements for social distancing no longer apply and you don’t need to stay 2 metres apart from people you do not live with. Our wedding on Saturday at the Grand Hotel in York required face masks. (Some were pretty fancy) From this week, no face coverings will be needed by law. Singing and dancing at the reception can now return to ‘normal’. I’m excited to see just how different things are this coming weekend and if everyone feels completely comfortable. All I can say is that Nikki and Mark didn’t suffer in anyway from Covid rules on Saturday. We still had one fantastic day!
