Tomorrow (19th May) we'll be holding a practical session - finding creative ways to photograph everyday objects.

So bring along an apple, fork, book, glasses... anything that you consider to be an everyday object... and some ideas you fancy trying out (and don't forget your camera!). There will be studio lighting, and members will be more than happy to help with camera settings etc.

We meet fortnightly in the summer term until the end of July. Our Summer term members fee is only £17 which gives you access to all the Tuesday evening sessions plus any additional meetups being organised. See our website for more information and our Summer Programme.

Our Summer season begins tomorrow night with guest speaker, Hamish Irvine.

It will be a talk of two halves... in the first half, Hamish will talk about his career as a professional photographer, focusing on weddings alongside his work in sport, portraiture and events.

The 2nd half will explore his travel photography, from recent work in Pakistan to India, the Far East and beyond, and how those experiences shape his professional practice and touches on how photography opens doors to worlds you might never otherwise encounter.

Visitors are very welcome... £5 on the door (please bring cash) and 50p for tea and biscuit in the break.

New members are very welcome and the Summer fee is £17. If you come to this talk and decide to join afterwards, your £5 will be deducted from the fee. See our website for the summer programme and more information about joining or speak with us on the night.
