I promised and I shall deliver, here is just one shot I want to share

I have no idea what was said but it must have been bloody good!

I edited these with a Twilight theme in mind, you'll see what I mean as you see more, being lil emo's I had a feeling they'd have been on the Twilight train just as I was and given the gorgeous woodland setting we found ourselves in and the brief of "more grungy" edits, I thought I'd shoot my shot with a series of blue hues and high contrasts.

Now, I hope you've got a cuppa and are sat down because it's story time again.

This is Rachael and Shannen, they contacted me what feels like years ago now to ask me about wedding photography and to explain the vision for their day. I was actually quite anxious about this one evening though it was way less pressure because I'd gotten to know these two and what they liked and I didn't want to let them down!

I discovered quite quickly we had a lot in common from a spiritual perspective, a love of horror and also being elder emos (the elite class). So I'd like to hope we started to create quite a bond through endless inspiration photographs, Shannen and I sending early morning messages as part of our coffee and contemplation sessions before the day started fully and hearing/seeing little updates like when they got their vow books, ring box, difficulties with outfits and goodness know what else. So when the day finally rolled around, the pressure was on! I was desperate to fulfil a dream.

Now, I've taken 100 "I now pronounce you married" photographs but this one is the only one where there has ever been a physical celebration for me to capture. I think I've stared at this and felt the joy a hundred times over and I think it's very quickly made it into the books as one of my favourite photographs I've ever taken. I love moments like this where I can look back in years to come and still feel all warm and squishy because I got to be part of something so special.

After the ceremony we went of for a good old walk around Newmillerdam! But you'll have to wait for some of those!

Rachael and Shannen 💚

Elopement but with co-operation from some strangers attending another wedding!

If there's one thing about me as your photographer, I ain't scared to be cheeky and rope some strangers into the action. If you want an elopement but still want the wonder of a confetti shot, I'm going to make it happen!

Oooh now I'm posting one of my favourite sessions this year!

We did an elopement style wedding, absolutely bare minimum guests, in fact NONE! only witnesses and this gorgeous couples little one 🥹

Keep your eyes peeled! for now, can we have a moment for the little details!

I could do church weddings every day of the week, I ADORE them, it's like being part of an elite group of people getting to witness two people making their vows to each other in a spiritual setting

I can't believe I still haven't posted so many wonderful photographs of weddings earlier this year and content! We have more! I'm absolutely swamped at the moment, so bare with me!

Remember content creation bookings are OPEN, half day rates are still going at a steal and I'm booking full days from 2027!

We're going back to the beginning of the year and a bit of an explanation of why I call myself a documentary style photographer.

This little shot right here, no posing, direction or anything, just a hug on a precious day, surrounded by precious people. These are the shots that I absolutely thrive off of and why you'll tend to find me lurking in the corner on your wedding day, waiting for moment to happen.
