Dystopia

A selection of photographs from a walk through a winter UK seaside town that is hibernating.

No people
No sounds of the summer
No traffic noise
Nothing

Like the place has been paused until the people decide to return.

Dystopia

I am drawn to scenes that have a run down, unloved and abandoned feel to them. I have taken the feeling whilst pressing the shutter button and pushed my usual editing style to further reflect the mood that these places give in their winter slumber.

Toby

My guy. 14 years (just about) teaching me about responsibility, love, care, tolerance and so much more. All skills I never knew I was gaining through “getting a dog”.

The 1st dog portrait I took was the top one, back in summer 2012, who knew spaniels would form a large part of my photographic subjects over a decade later.

The bottom shot was the last portrait I got just before last Christmas.

Miss you my little lad
