我係一位由香港到台灣，再到英國發展嘅專業攝影師。
I’m a professional photographer who grew up in Hong Kong, studied in Taiwan, and now works in the UK.

攝影陪伴我超過 10年，由興趣慢慢發展成為專業，並完成 MA Photography。
Photography has been part of my life for over 10 years, growing from a passion into my profession, with an MA in Photography.

多年來，我有不同類型嘅攝影經驗，包括 Wedding、Portrait、Family、Food、Event 及 Commercial Photography。
Over the years, I’ve worked across weddings, portraits, families, food, events, and commercial photography.

我亦曾經同 Uber Eats、Just Eat、Deliveroo 等平台合作，為餐廳及食品製作商業影像。
I’ve also worked with platforms including Uber Eats, Just Eat, and Deliveroo, creating commercial photography for restaurants and food businesses.

對我而言，攝影唔只係影相，而係用影像記錄人物、故事同值得留住嘅時刻。
For me, photography is more than taking pictures — it’s about capturing people, stories, and moments worth remembering.

01｜Mestre 🇮🇹

威尼斯的物價一直都偏高，但只要跨過一條橋，來到威尼斯本島對岸的 Mestre（梅斯特雷），價格就會親民不少。如果預算有限，其實很推薦住在 Mestre，距離威尼斯本島很近，住宿亦通常比住在本島便宜。 👉🏻

Venice has always been quite expensive, but just across the bridge, in Mestre, things become much more affordable. If you’re travelling on a budget, I’d definitely recommend staying there. It’s very close to Venice, and accommodation is generally cheaper than staying on the island itself. 👉🏻

02｜Getting around 🚤

Mestre 距離威尼斯本島很近，可以乘搭火車、巴士或電車前往。如果真的趕時間，一日其實已經可以走遍威尼斯大部分主要景點；而需要前往較遠的地方時，也可以選擇乘搭水上巴士 Vaporetto，普通船票目前約 €9.50。 👉🏻

Mestre is very close to Venice and can be reached by train, bus or tram. If you’re short on time, you can actually see most of Venice’s main sights in a day. And if you need to get somewhere further away, you can take the Vaporetto, Venice’s water bus, with a standard ticket currently costing around €9.50. 👉🏻

03｜One day or three days? 🚶🏻‍♀️

但如果可以留出兩至三日，我會更推薦慢慢用自己的步伐去感受這座城市。對我來說，威尼斯並不是一個需要急著「完成」的地方，反而值得慢慢行、慢慢看。 👉🏻

But if you can spare two or three days, I’d recommend slowing down and experiencing the city at your own pace. For me, Venice isn’t somewhere you need to rush through or “complete” — it’s a city that deserves to be explored slowly. 👉🏻

04｜Slow down ☕

不用急著趕去下一個景點，可以坐下來喝一杯咖啡，看看當地人如何生活，讓自己真正感受一下這座城市的節奏。 👉🏻

You don’t always have to rush to the next attraction. Sit down with a coffee, watch how the locals go about their everyday lives, and take some time to experience the rhythm of the city. 👉🏻

05｜Look around 🏛️

慢慢欣賞這裡的建築、細節和獨有的美感。我覺得來到威尼斯，這些體驗其實比單純去不同景點打卡更加重要。 👉🏻

Take your time to appreciate the architecture, the little details and the unique beauty of Venice. For me, these experiences are much more meaningful than simply ticking different places off a list. 👉🏻

06｜Talk to strangers 🗣️

我覺得大部分威尼斯人其實都很友善。如果你不怕跟陌生人說話，我非常推薦在旅途中多跟當地人聊天。你永遠不知道一段看似普通的對話，最後會帶來甚麼意外的收穫。 👉🏻

I found most Venetians to be very friendly. If you’re not afraid of talking to strangers, I’d definitely recommend having conversations with local people during your trip. You never know what an ordinary conversation might lead to. 👉🏻

When I graduated from high school, a close friend and I promised each other that one day, we would travel to Venice together.

More than ten years later, I finally set foot in Venice at 30 — just not with the person I once made that promise with. There’s a little bit of regret in that, I guess. Some promises simply don’t survive the passing of time.

My last trip to Italy was for my 30th birthday in Rome. This time, I came to Venice mainly for the exhibitions, staying only four days and three nights.

And, of course, Venice gave me a very memorable welcome. 😂
On my very first boat ride, I casually walked straight onto the boat without reading the signs… and ended up with a €60 fine. Welcome to Venice. 🥲

It’s also definitely not a cheap city. A single boat ride costs €9 for tourists, while locals pay only €1.50. After a few days here, I couldn’t help feeling that Venice doesn’t exactly make tourists feel very welcome. 😂

Still, I finally made it here.

Swap for the video 👉🏻At the 2026 , one of the most talked-about national pavilions is the Austrian Pavilion, featuring SEAWORLD VENICE by Austrian performance artist Florentina Holzinger. Known for her bold and physically demanding performances, Holzinger explores themes of the human body, climate change, water, religion, and the relationship between nature and technology.

One of the exhibition’s most striking performances features a performer hanging upside down inside a giant church bell, acting as the bell’s clapper. This powerful image serves as a symbolic warning bell for today’s environmental crisis. It reminds us that human actions have consequences for the planet and invites us to reflect on our relationship with the natural world.

威尼斯的浪仍流在了我的心中
搖搖晃晃。
不必酒醉人，我已暈眩在這種城中，價值不菲。
熾熱的石板，匆忙的趕路；時間不多了，在它被淹沒前。
船隻交錯在海水之上，揚起了海的勞動力和生命力，在分支交錯細語。
美景為什麼會醉人呢？主觀的定義是那狹窄的橋。
有些眼睛是天生的通行證，不需深究，早已意會神領。
就像語言，各有不同；但我深信溝通，是水到渠成那麼理所當然。
就像畫家會拿起筆、攝影師會拿起相機、廚子會拿起刀，冥冥之中。
畫中那距離，就讓夜幕拉起序曲——
一抹溫婉的小提琴，在低樓之間流浪起舞。
不問來處，也不問歸人，
只須要隨這海水浮沉⋯⋯剩下的就交給這萬物之源。

Venice
Still, the Venetian tide makes its slow passage through my heart,
swaying there, as though unmoored.
Let the wine remain unopened.
This city has already undone my balance—
costly beyond measure.
Heat rises from the flagstones beneath hurried steps;
time narrows
before the water reclaims the world.
Boats cross and recross the water,
stirring the sea’s labour and vitality
into whispers at every branching canal.
The brush finds the painter’s hand,
the camera the photographer’s,
the knife the cook’s—
under the quiet jurisdiction
of what cannot be named.
From the distance enclosed within the frame,
let night raise its curtain
and sound its first note—
a gentle thread of violin
drifts between the low roofs,
dancing as it goes.
Ask neither where we came from
nor who is making their way home.
We need only yield to the sea—
to its lifting and its sinking—
and surrender all that follows
to the wellspring of the world.

Today I discovered a Spanish painter, , in an art lecture, and when I came home I disappeared into a little research rabbit hole. Since I’d already gathered all these notes, I thought I might as well share them here too. I’m not an art expert at all, but I really enjoy wandering around galleries, looking at paintings and objects, and imagining the stories and tiny decisions behind each work.
Sometimes I feel that painters from the past were like the photographers of their time. Before cameras existed, they were already doing something very similar: quietly watching how light and shadow move across a room, how colours shift from morning to evening, and trying to hold onto the feeling of “right now” with whatever tools they had. Maybe they were just as obsessed as we are, staring at the way light hits water, skin, fabric, glass.
I also love the word photography itself. It comes from the Greek phōs (φῶς), meaning “light”, and graphē (γραφή), meaning “drawing / writing”. Put together, it literally means “drawing with light”, which is such a poetic definition for something we do every day with our phones. For me, photography is exactly that: using light to draw, to write, to remember, to say “this moment mattered to me”.
今天在一場藝術講座裡認識了一位西班牙畫家 Joaquín Sorolla，回家之後就不小心掉進了一個小小的資料洞裡。既然都查了、也做了不少筆記，就想乾脆整理一下，順便在這裡和大家分享。我對繪畫本身的研究其實不深，但很喜歡逛 art gallery，看畫、看藝術品，邊看邊想像每一件作品背後那些細小的選擇和故事。
有時候會覺得，以前的畫家大概就是那個年代的攝影師吧。在還沒有相機的時代，他們其實已經在做很接近的事情：安靜地觀察光影在房間裡移動、顏色從早上到晚上慢慢改變，然後用手上僅有的工具，試著把「此刻」的感覺留下來。也許他們和我們現在一樣，會盯著水面、皮膚、布料、玻璃上那一點點光線的變化，看得出神。
我一直很喜歡「photography」這個字本身的字源。它來自希臘文的 phōs（φῶς），意思是「光」，以及 graphē（γραφή），意思是「書寫、描繪」。合在一起，就是很經典的那句——攝影是「用光在畫畫」（drawing with light）。 對我來說，攝影正是這樣：用光來畫、用光來寫、用光去記住某一個當下，好像在說：「這個瞬間，對我來說很重要。」

The 30 Women / 三十女子 — the beginning of an ongoing fine-art project on women, thirty, and the contradictions of being seen.

I started this the year turning thirty stopped being abstract for me. The pressure around age, timing, and what a woman is “supposed” to have become by now found its way into my body before I could put it into words. This project is where I put it instead.
