Just over a week since the lovely Henry and Leigh got wed at the beautiful
surrounded by the best bunch of family, friends (and dogs) cheering them on!

So many beautiful spots in the grounds, from the rose garden to the meadow, we were spoiled for choice!

Congratulations to the loveliest couple! ❤️

Happy first Father's Day ❤️ Beyond proud of the amazing Daddy you've become over the last 6 months to our little man. It feels like a lifetime ago that I took these photos 1 week postpartum, fuelled by coffee and adrenaline. I'm looking forward to picking up my camera and sharing more again soon. Wishing everyone a happy day today and thinking of those who are struggling ❤️

Getting your baby to look at the camera for a photo is no easy task.. believe me I know! On a family photoshoot, as well as those lovely in between moments, it’s also my mission to capture that magic moment where your little one is staring lovingly into the lens. So today I thought I’d share a few of my tips on how you can do the same..

SHINY THINGS- everyone knows that babies are attracted to all things shiny so place something shiny around your camera lens or over your phone (tinfoil works great!)

SNAP AWAY- patience is key when photographing babies and to make sure you don’t miss that perfect shot go into your settings on your phone and enable ‘burst mode’ or if using a camera make sure to shoot in ‘continuous’!

LIGHT- pop your baby next to a bright window and they will usually be attracted to the light. If you position yourself in front of the window you’re likely to catch them looking your way.. if not, the window light will still make for a flattering shot!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all of the amazing mums out there! I've had the pleasure of photographing so many of you this past year and I've loved every second of it.
Also sending love to those finding today difficult; to those without their Mums, Mums who are without their children, and those who desperately want to be Mums today - I'm thinking of you all ❤️

I am looking for a family with a newborn to come on a free photoshoot with me in exchange for use of the photos in my portfolio and on my social media platforms. As a thank you for your time you will receive 5 high quality images of your choice!

I'm throwing it back to Autumn on this not so sunny Tuesday! With Spring just around the corner we'll soon be swapping those vibrant yellows for those beautiful pastel pinks of the blossom trees... LET'S STAY HOME⠀..⠀
Let's be honest, with the icy temperatures at this time of year, outdoor photoshoots aren't quite as appealing as they are in those warmer months! I for one am partial to a whinge about how cold my toes are in Winter, never mind your little ones. ⠀..⠀
At home shoots offer a great alternative, especially if you've got a new addition and don't want to venture too far from your own sofa! As I'm looking to broaden my newborn portfolio, I'm going to be looking for a couple of families to take part in some portfolio shoots over the coming weeks so if you're interested or know anyone with a little one on the way, keep your eyes peeled 👀⠀..⠀

If you’re sitting there thinking I’m a bit late to the party with the well wishes and the Happy New Years, then you’d be quite right!
…
To be honest, the lead up to Christmas left me feeling a little exhausted after a 2 month long cold, a family loss and a bout of Omicron (laced with the usual festive chaos) but after a quiet few weeks the pep in my step has returned and I’ve got so many ideas bubbling around in my head that I can’t wait to put to work. I’ve got a feeling 2022 is going to be a good one (it’s got to be better than last year hasn’t it!?)

First things first though, it’s time to catch up on all of my favourites I’ve not got around to sharing from 2021. This one was the star of the show at her Autumn shoot!

I loved capturing these three brothers and their big cousin on their family photoshoot a couple of week's ago. They all wore their best smile (and best coats!) as a special present for their Grandma's big Birthday and didn't they do great?!.
Photos of the kids are a great gift if you're buying for that person that has everything (we all know someone!). It's not too late to book in for a pre-Christmas shoot, just drop me a message to enquire!

Wondering what to wear for your autumn photo shoot? This family nailed it. Those warm mustards, deep reds and blues against the autumn leaves are just dreamy! (If I do say so myself 😉)
This weekend is the last for autumn shoots and then it will be all about the festive magic! I’m currently scouting festive locations with lovely pine trees and ferns so if you’re looking for some Christmas presents or just fancy getting some festive photos for the wall then don’t hesitate to get in touch!

I can't believe there's only a couple of weeks left of those beautiful colours and falling leaves before we start the countdown to Christmas, 2021 is flying in! I'm planning on squeezing all of the Autumn fun out of this weekend with some more family shoots, a bonfire trip and hopefully a whole lot of mulled cider..!.
I thought this photo captured the magic of my favourite season perfectly!
