Visiting the Summer in Lee event today. Glad the weather improved. The Air display was good, just a shame one of my favourite aircraft (The DC-3 Dakota) didn’t show. Still plenty to see and do this Summer Saturday.

Gosport Watches the Solar Eclipse | Around Gosport.

Last night, people gathered at Stokes Bay to witness a rare partial solar eclipse.
From proper solar glasses and professional cameras to homemade viewing methods, everyone had their own way of experiencing the event.
I spent the evening filming the people, the atmosphere and the changing light on the beach — with a couple of glimpses of the eclipse itself.
A summer evening at Stokes Bay, a rare event in the sky, and a lot of people looking upwards.
