And now for something completely different... I'm finally getting round to sharing an image that I shot back in the summer of last year. It was one of the last shots I took at the end of an incredibly enjoyable day exploring the London Underground with the lovely and very talented Benjamin Graham.
I met Benjamin a good few years ago after a talk he did at Bookham Camera Club, and we have stayed in touch ever since. We would always talk of getting together for a day of photography, but every time we tried life would seem to throw us a few curve balls, but finally, last summer, we were able to make it happen!
Benjamin has spent many months, (probably years actually), getting to know every inch of the London Underground and it's surrounding areas for his book The Story of the Tube, and he was kind enough to show me some of the highlights of the Elizabeth Line and its environs.
This was our last stop of the day; the Camile Walala designed bridge at Canary Wharf, and my goodness, what a spot! I could have stayed here for hours, but sadly we were running out of time, but I did manage to fire off a few shots, with this being my favourite.
