Snowdon just after sunrise, and Tryfan just before sunset, both taken on Christmas Eve this year. A good days wandering with some beautiful weather for once, we certainly got lucky this time around.

It’s a very surreal place to be, watching the early morning sun light up the tallest peaks in Europe, and being up there above the world and the clouds, awe-inspiring scenery in every sense, and so tranquil and serene. At the same time, nerve jangling to the extreme as you watch these complete loonies trot down the snow covered side of a very steep sheer drop that leads over 2 miles back to ground level, still, the most amazing start to a day I have ever had ☺️

I've been eyeing this field of rapeseed up for a while now, waiting for a clear blue sky, and after a morning spent in the woods with the bluebells I had to take the detour on the way home to go and grab the shot. Beautiful spring countryside colours.
