This is how I finish for Christmas…. Doing what I LOVE and working with the best people.

Yesterday I got to work on a new project for a new client, on a collaboration with someone who’s work and ethics I respect and adore.

This is a new restaurant based in Rugby that has been 2 years in the development and the love, attention and details that has gone into it, is inspiring.

Sarah Sarkies Mulberry Design it’s ALWAYS a pleasure to collaborate, the vision you have for this client and the work they have put into this new restaurant is amazing and I can’t wait to share the results.

…..and OMG I got to try the food and cocktails and I have to tell you, it is superb. The staff fabulous and the talent and dedication of all of them is a thing to be admired.

This summer, we crafted a vision that perfectly aligns with her unique writing style. From selecting an elegant venue to curating outfits that showcase her personality, every detail was carefully planned.

Selecting the right venue was crucial to compliment Katie's brand. After careful consideration, we found the perfect location that mirrored the essence of her writing – elegant, professional, and infused with creativity. An integral part of any brand shoot is the clothing and accessories my clients wear. I was recently tasked with documenting the unveiling of Aston University's new Enterprise Hub in Birmingham. The event was well attended, leaving standing room only. An open conversation took place with Professor of Small Business and Entrepreneurship Mark Hart and Managing Director of ISA Support Services, Sunny Araf who has led an incredible and fascinating business career.

It was fabulous to hear how Aston University will be supporting entrepreneurs and innovators through the Enterprise Hub.

The venue itself is truly sophisticated and impressive, offering a space that businesses can utilise.

Today is World Architecture Day. For those of you who don’t know, this day is like a global birthday party for all the amazing buildings around us.

Why Do We Celebrate World Architecture Day?

So, you might be asking, "Why do we even celebrate World Architecture Day?" Good question! Established by the International Union of Architects (UIA), the objective of World Architecture Day is multifaceted.

Architecture is way more than just bricks and mortar; it’s about creating spaces that make us feel something. From cosy homes to towering skyscrapers, these structures tell a story about who we are and what we aspire to be. Plus, let’s not forget the growing need to design buildings that are kind to our planet.

Photography allows us to immortalise the transient emotions that architecture can evoke—be it the awe-inspiring majesty of historical landmarks or the intimate cosiness of a small café. Through our lenses, we have the power to amplify the architect’s vision, creating images that can inform, inspire, and incite change.
