Finally had a London office visit, first one in over a year so made the most of being in the capital city for a couple of evenings and wandered around with my trusty camera.

I took today off following the England game last night, but was up and out and I’m glad I didn’t just fester in my pit.

I made my way down to Wheal Coats near St Agnes and couldn’t believe my luck! The mist just sat on the sea as I parked up and walked down to the old tin mine buildings, and it just kept rolling in.

After wandering around I popped Restormel Castle into my satnav, after the Mrs had mentioned it at the weekend.

It was a wee but expensive (about a tenner to a non-English Heritage patron) but I was already there to coughed up the dough.

Was out last night at The Wharf in Tavistock to see The Floyd Effect, what a great evening. What a great little tribute band, they were pretty damn amazing!
