I’m a Borders photographer who loves capturing real moments — from weddings and family milestones to community events across the Borders and beyond.

My style is calm, natural and people‑centred, keeping things relaxed so you can just enjoy the day

A few moments from my daughter Carla's & Bob’s wedding at Falkland Palace on 5th September 2026.
I left the cameras at home and enjoyed being a very proud MOB — K8saxphotography captured the day beautifully then Erin took over as did many friends with their phones leading to so many beautiful memories of the day. So proud of the young woman she has become. Flowers by Angelas Flowers in Greenlaw and my outfit was from Eden in Hawick. A magical day with family and friends.

Isla didn’t just smash her cake… she claimed it.
Chocolate, cream, giggles, and the biggest smiles — a perfect first birthday moment with mum Rhiannon and granny Sarah cheering her on.

I know it’s been a bit quiet on here lately, but I promise the camera hasn’t had a chance to gather dust. Life has been full-on in the best way.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been at a wedding fayre, a walking rugby festival, Earlston Civic Week fancy dress, two birthday cake smashes, a family photoshoot, and a lovely day out to Queensferry with my husband and my two youngest nieces on a boat trip under the Forth Bridges. I also spent a few days visiting my mum, and we’ve had my daughter’s family hen doo as well — so definitely not resting on my laurels.

Plenty of photos taken, plenty of memories made, and I’ll share some favourites soon.

I’m also planning some Back to School / Starting School studio sessions at The Smiddy, Lauder Leisure Centre during the week beginning 10th August — likely Mon, Tues and/or Wed.
£45 for a 30‑minute session, including 5 prints and 5 matching digital images.

If you’d like to book in, just drop me a message. Thanks for all your support — it means a lot.

March took me to the SOSE & Scottish EDGE Awards — a day full of ideas, pitches, nerves, excitement and well‑deserved wins.
Loved capturing the atmosphere and the people who make these events what they are.
