You might have noticed that our Famous Blacksmiths Shop has been closed for a little while over these last few months… Well, we can finally reveal what we’ve been keeping under wraps!

Our Famous Blacksmiths Shop has been having a magnificent makeover and undergoing a transformation into “The Famous Blacksmiths Gretna Green Experience”, and will be open to visitors from Friday 29th April!✨

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to retell our famous love story and through an immersive, interactive journey you can experience the World’s Greatest Love Story ❤️

Don’t panic though! Our original Marriage Room remains at the heart of the original Famous Blacksmiths Shop - with all the original features of this iconic wedding venue having been fully preserved to continue to give our brides and grooms the authentic Gretna Green experience 👰‍
