What an incredible end to 2025 - a Snowdon sunrise hike on New Year’s Eve!

Having recently got into hiking, and being in North Wales for a week it would be amiss to not climb Snowdon. and I set a 4:30am alarm and started heading up the mountain around 5:30am, a very sketchy walk up to the top with lots of ice everywhere to the point where we almost stopped and turned back around. I’m so glad we persevered because this was probably the best hike I’ve ever done and the most incredible sunrises I’ve seen. We got over to the top ridge and saw the shadow being cast by the mountain and I got a bit emosh as it was just so incredibly beautiful 😂

Here’s to 2025 and for my new found hobby of hiking, it’s been a great year with lots of different adventures in different places. Thankful for all the great people I’ve met and had adventures with!

All the best everyone for 2026 - hope it brings you everything you wish for 🥳

Scrolling through some old photos today and stumbled across this sunset shot from Eystrahorn. Haven’t managed to get out with the camera for a little while or even manage to get any images processed so reminiscing on old photos.

Star trails over Mount Teide 💫

Taken on my Astro modded camera whilst & I were shooting our Milky Way foregrounds facing the other way. This photo is around 125 images merged together over ~1 hour to create the star trails. Usually would have been good to shoot it over a longer period but we had an early flight the next day so needed to skedaddle 😂
