Sessions take place in outdoor locations your dog already enjoys — parks, woodland, coastal paths or favourite walks. Every dog is welcome — energetic, shy, young, senior or rescue. I work slowly, kindly and at your dog’s pace.

These relaxed outdoor sessions are designed to capture your dog’s character naturally—unhurried, thoughtful and completely led by them.

The complete experience is £395 and includes:

🐾 Up to one hour of relaxed outdoor photography
🐾 Up to two dogs from the same household
🐾 20 professionally edited high-resolution digital photographs
🐾 A private online gallery for downloading and sharing your images
🐾 Personal printing rights

Your finished digital photographs are included, so there is no separate image purchase or minimum order following the session. Professional prints and wall art are also available but are completely optional.

It’s always lovely to see where the dogs I’ve photographed over the years end up — but this is a first! 📖🐾

Around ten years ago I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful Weimaraner called Baileydog, owned by Steve Bailey.

Steve has now written The Book of Baileydog, telling the true story of their life together and the very special bond between a dog and the person who loves them.

I was delighted when Steve asked if he could include some of the photographs from our session in the book, and it’s rather special to see images I took all those years ago now appearing in print.

From what Steve describes, it’s a story with plenty of humour and happy memories, but also the poignancy that anyone who has ever loved — and eventually had to say goodbye to — a dog will understand.

It even comes with a foreword from Graeme Hall, The Dogfather, from Channel 5’s Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly.

Congratulations Steve — and, of course, Baileydog. What a wonderful way to celebrate a much-loved four-legged member of the family. ❤️

That head tilt gets me every time. ❤️

One of my favourite moments during a photoshoot is when a dog hears an interesting sound and gives that classic head tilt.

It lasts less than a second, but it instantly adds character and personality to a portrait.

And let's be honest... it's impossible not to smile when a Corgi does it.
