Every now and then, I get the opportunity to be able to do something special.. like editing and printing a photo whilst the bride & groom are sitting down for their wedding breakfast.

Throwing back to Angely & Lewis’s wedding I was able to do just that. I presented the groom with the print, as I didn’t want to disturb the bride while she was talking to her guests. When he instantly went off to show the bride I knew I had to hang around to witness the reaction.

The One With The Rap Speech.. 🎤 🫳

I just had to use this song for Zanna & Jiggy!

Where do I start with the NEW Mr & Mrs Hall! A day planned to perfection. A day full of emotion & laughter, with a suprise Rapping speech from the Father of the bride! (which by the end had everyone rapping a long)

We started off at home for Zanna with her ladies & brothers before heading off to Barbon for a beautiful ceremony! Timing it beautifully (avoiding a downpour) we caught some portraits on the barbon tops before heading back to the family farm for an absolute party. The setup was amazing, and the weather.. well it behaved when it was supposed to!

Due to a change of wedding date, all the flowers Zanna’s mum had originally prepared were beautifully dried and reused to create the most gorgeous confetti. And the fresh flowers she created for the new date? Absolutely stunning! 🌸 Hats off mum, big style! 👏

Zanna & James (Jiggy) were up for anything I threw at them, including legging it outside to catch a rainbow 🌈 (picture shall feature in another post because it deserves its own)

Throwing back here for a minute, I used to live near Zanna and once upon a time I used to catch a taxi down to the school bus stop.. (different schools) little did I know I would have the absolute honour of capturing your wedding all these years later. Truly grateful.

The One Where ‘You’ll never walk alone’

A glimpse into the most beautiful day at Wennington Hall for the NEW Mr & Mrs Brearton!

I say you’ll never walk alone because Lewis’s brother belted out the soundtrack of Anfield to everyone during his hilarious eye opening speech, much to Lewis’s disgust as a none Liverpool FC fan 🤣

I had an incredible day with these two. A relaxed gathering of those nearest and dearest full of laughter and surprises.

What a day for these two legends. The weather was absolutely perfect.

I joined them both at the beautiful Cockermouth Town Hall for a relaxed ceremony, before moving on to Braithwaite for an absolute party!

The One With All The Tractors!

Introducing the new Mr & Mrs Mitton! When Leah said Sam was bringing tractors, she really meant he was BRINGING Tractors! I didn’t know which one to photograph first!

We started the day at home before travelling out across the tops to Hobbit Hill, with the old Land Rover. Hobbit Hill was truly dressed to impress and the weather was just absolutely perfect.

The evening consisted of the most energetic Ceilidh I’ve ever seen!

The One With The Pizza Cut

Matthew & Magda chose to tie the knot at Lancaster Registry Office before heading to the family farm for a homemade reception! I was in absolute shock with how they turned a barn in to a beautiful reception for their wedding, it was absolutely perfect.

Matthew & Magda didn’t follow tradition as such and chose to ‘cut the pizza’ instead, absolutely love it! Not to say there wasn’t any cake.. because there was LOADS! It was heaven.

The One With All The Tears..
Hard launching the NEW Mr & Mrs Brown

Meg & Matt know how to throw a wedding, Megan’s organising was second to none! All the spectacular flowers you see are home grown!

We started the day at the family home with Matthew joining us for a first touch. Before moving on to a beautiful service at where Megan’s amazing sister was singing with the band.

Finally ending up at the spectacular Wennington Hall for the reception. Megans friend was also singing during canapés, which I already thought was beautiful before she then pivoted in to opera, which took everyone’s breath away! During speeches you will find me occasionally shedding a tear or two… & on this day I was having to wipe them away with the words being spoken, so beautiful.

The dancing in the evening was absolutely energy, what a party!

Thank you again both for having me, it was amazing! Wishing you nothing but happiness in this new chapter!
