“felt like we were watching a state funeral”

Lovely feedback from a family from Australia who were watching a Funeral Live Stream I did recently in Weeton near Blackpool.

It’s been a busy week Live Streaming funerals all over the North West. Here’s where I’ve been working over the past 6 days

“I felt like | was there with you and could have tapped you on the shoulder and spoken to you"

Words from a sister in Australia watching the Live Stream of a funeral that I did in Accrington the week before last.

It’s always very rewarding when I hear feedback like that!

📆 // 7 DAYS // 📆
Here are some of the places I’ve been working at over the past 7 days.

Today I was in the village of Barton in Cumbria to Live Stream a funeral and provide speakers outside so people could hear the service . The church was full and there would be maybe 75-100 people listening outdoors. It was a beautiful service for a much loved lady.

The church was stunning and very unique - I have never been to a church quite like it. The tower is in the middle with arches underneath inside.

The mobile signal was very poor….. I would have really struggled without my Starlink router which means Live Streaming is possible
In Full HD in even remote places.

I’ve been asked to Digitise lots of old camcorder tapes over the past few months, a lot more than usual. Sadly this one was too mouldy to convert. If you have some tapes you would like to have transferred to digital, please don’t leave it too long. The tape will deteriorate over time and those precious memories could be lost. Yesterday I had the honour of Live Streaming a funeral in Grange over Sands in Cumbria. It was a packed out church with over 330 people in attendance and many more watching the live webcast. Everyone at The Parish of St Paul and The Fell Church, Grange-over-Sands was very warm and welcoming. It was good to work alongside Saunders & Son Funeral Directors once again too.

Yesterday I had the honour of Live Streaming a Memorial Funeral Service in Prescot, Liverpool for family members watching the Webcast live in Uganda.

Last Friday, the sun was shining bright for a beautiful outdoor funeral service at Brocklands Woodland Burial near Settle in North Yorkshire. I was asked to provide Music and a Microphone for the 200+ guests that attended. With no electricity near by, I used my 600w rechargeable speaker - It was perfect for the job! It was a privilege to be there, it really was special and great to work once again with Suzanne Bairstow Independent Funeral Director
