We've received a report of an attempted robbery at a shop on Ansdell Road this evening.
A witness described 2 people leaving the store following the activation of the anti theft smoke deterrent system.
No confirmation as yet from Police.

Fylde Police have issued the following missing person appeal
Have you seen Susan Lawrenson?
She’s missing and we are worried about her.
Susan, 75, was last seen at just after 9am this morning (Monday, June 15th) on Berwick Drive in Fulwood walking in the direction of Black Bull Lane.
She is white, 5ft 4 tall, medium build with frizzy grey hair.
She was last seen wearing a purple knee length coat, dark trousers, black and white Sketchers shoes and glasses with reactive lenses that turn dark in sunlight.
Susan has links to Lytham St Annes and may have tried to travel there on a bus.

Can you help us find Mason who is missing from Burnley?
Mason, 16, was last seen on Finsley Gate, Burnley at 1:30pm on Saturday 6th June.
He has links to Blackpool.
Mason is 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, with short, mousy blonde hair.
He was last seen wearing a black cap with silver writing on the side and front, a dark puffer jacket, dark grey joggers and black Nike trainers.

Lancashire Police are appealing for help finding a missing prisoner.
Have you seen David Michael Devlin?
Devlin, 35, is wanted for absconding from HMP Kirkham.
He is 5ft 8in tall.
He has connections to Rochdale, Manchester and Northampton.
If you see Devlin, please do not approach him and call 999.

We need your help to find Lily who is missing from Blackpool.
Lily, 17, was last seen outside the Imperial Hotel, Promenade, Blackpool at 7:40pm on Thursday 4th June.
She has links to Blackpool town centre.
Lily is 5ft 4in tall, of medium build, with long, dark hair worn in a ponytail.
She was last seen wearing a white hoodie, black flared pants, and grey trainers.

Overnight reports of LFRS attending Tesco Extra Bispham
Smoke reported in the store

LFRS stated three crews from Blackpool and Bispham were called to the store on All Hallows Road at 11.43pm on Thursday (June 4). On arrival, firefighters used entry equipment to gain access to the premises.
No signs of fire were found.
It's thought a motion sensor had activated a anti theft smoke screen in the premesis.
